Welcome to Connect Us Psychology

Supporting Autistic and ADHD folk across the lifespan in a safe, inclusive space.

Hi , I ’m Chelsea!

I'm an Autistic ADHDer, psychologist, author, and parent to two delightful Neurodivergent kiddos.

I know what it's like to spend years trying to fit into spaces that weren't built for you.

Connect Us Psychology exists to provide support that is affirming, practical, and grounded in genuine understanding.

Because most people don't need fixing.

They need support that fits.

Who do I Support

At Connect Us Psychology, I support Autistic and ADHD folk across the lifespan, as well as the parents, carers, and professionals who support them.

My work is grounded in lived experience, clinical expertise, and a neurodiversity-affirming approach that centres understanding, compassion, and practical support.

Whether you're navigating an assessment, supporting your child, managing burnout, or trying to better understand yourself, you don't have to do it alone.

I'm here to help you find support that fits.

What I stand for

My mission is to create a community where you feel welcome and supported, by embracing...

NEURODIVERSITY-AFFIRMING PRACTICE

Every brain is unique, and I celebrate the different ways we experience the world. My goal is to support individuals by understanding their unique strengths and challenges.

RADICAL ACCEPTANCE AND SELF-COMPASSION

I help individuals develop self-compassion and radical acceptance by understanding themselves and their experiences.

AUTHENTICITY

I strive to be my most authentic self in all I do, to give others permission to do the same.

I acknowledge the Widjabul people of the Bundjalung Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters where I live, work, and create and the Yugambeh people, the Traditional Custodians of this land.

I pay deep respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples here today.

I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

As a psychologist, and parent, I honour that storytelling, teaching, and healing have been practiced on this Country for tens of thousands of years. I acknowledge the wisdom that continues to flow through Country, community, and culture, and I give thanks to the land for holding and teaching us still.

I commit to walking gently, listening deeply, and learning continuously - in the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and reconciliation.
